In 2009, San Francisco’s luxurious Millenium Tower opened to great fanfare, with soaring panoramic views and world-class amenities. Still promoted as “Your city within the city,” the 58-story, blue-gray tower has sunk 18 inches into the soft downtown soil. And Ronald Hamburger, Millennium’s current engineer says that the tower is now tilting. Questions are being raised about the monolith’s structural integrity in the aftermath of the building collapse in Surfside, Florida. Watch the video here.
